Supplying the UK art market with unique and inspiring products is key to The Art Ministry’s success. In this respect, we want the artists we work with to be free from the usual restraints, so they have more time and freedom to create. We support our Featured Artists on many levels including advice and practical assistance in all matters relating to business, marketing, career plans, developing and producing work.
We are always open to considering new talent and encourage you to apply regardless of your background. Each applicant is individually assessed to determine if their work and career aspirations reflect our areas of expertise and current market focus. All you have to do is send images of your work and a short CV.
Submissions can be sent to us in two ways:
1. By email to: FAP@artministry.co.uk Please note only JPEG can be accepted.
2. By post (enclosing a SAE) to: Featured Artist The Art Ministry PO Box 513 Hayes Middlesex UB3 9BA
NB: Send photos, prints, slide, transparencies or on a disc. Please do not send originals.
When we receive your submission, our team will:
1. Take an inventory of what you’ve sent us
2. Assess your work based on our current criteria for Featured Artists
3. Call you for further information if necessary
4. Contact you by post with our decision within four weeks
If your collection is approved for our range, we then:
1. Appoint a project manager to guide you through the process of becoming a Featured Artist
2. Prepare you and your work for promotion and distribution
3. Provide you with detailed guidance notes
From the point of accepting your submission, it can take anything from four to eight weeks to become an active artist - i.e. trading online and through our other distribution avenues. This timeframe depends on the size of your collection and how quickly you can deliver on your commitments.
If you have any queries do not hesitate to contact us on +(44) 20 8581 2328.
