Product Standards Although diverse in subject and style each artist and designer we represent is defined by their ability to inspire and the sale potential of their work. We work closely with our artists and designers to control limited production and increase and secure the investment value of each piece, and provide quality control. The Art Ministry provides a Certificate of Authenticity with every original or limited edition item/work. The work is also signed or stamped original paintings and giclee prints on the front, on all prints and hangings on the back, and sculpture and designer accessories on the base. Once a complete edition is sold The Art Ministry either destroys or files in a secure facility, the plate, negative or mould.  As a fine art publisher we faithfully translate original paintings into collectable limited edition prints of the finest quality, using the services of Pinewood Photographic Centre, Pinewood Studios and award winning UISArt, both leaders in their field. Depending on the colour settings of your computer, the colour of products you see online may be slightly different than the actual product.  Certificate of Authenticity          Photographic Prints          Giclee Prints        Framing              Print Sizes Conversion Chart Certificates of Authenticity are used by publishers and distributors of artwork to validate the origin of a piece. It includes the following information: The title and visual description of the artwork To meet our high product standards, we use the best photographic lab in the country, Pinewood Photographic Centre based at Pinewood Studios. The Pinewood Photographic Centre has been providing high quality colour and black and white printing and processing services to the film, TV and media industries for over 60 years. In recent years they have expanded their services to incorporate the latest digital technology in scanning and printing, image manipulation and colour correction. To deliver you long-lasting, high quality colour images The Art Ministry uses Pinewoods high resolution RGB scans to transfer the image from a negative or slide to large print format, which is done on one of only 20 large format LED printers in the country. Black & white images size A2 are also done by this process sizes A3 and A4 are hand printed. Photographic prints are done on Kodak Supra Endura Professional Paper and Ilford Resin Coated Paper. These papers set the standard for print longevity. Their tested light keeping is equivalent to 100+ years before noticeable fading occurs in typical home display, over 200 years in dark storage and 1 to 5 years for commercial display. Limited Edition photographic prints are printed to a maximum of 270 prints, each edition size. Print making is an art in itself and relies as much on the skill of the printer as it does on the machinery. There are several methods of printing, however compared to screen printing and litho printing, we choose giclé e as it claims the nearest colour reproduction to the original work of art. The Art Ministry’s prints are produced by UISart in Essex, run by Allan Snaith. Lead by Allan’s enthusiasm for quality printing and his passion for art, and using state-of-the-art machinery, UISart has become one of the foremost giclé e printers in the country. UISart was voted No 1 in a recent Fine Art Trading Group colour-fast test, so whether printed on canvas or museum quality archive paper, UISart prints are colour-fast for up to 60 year's, 120 on some materials. Not only do the prints look identical to the original, they also feel like it. UISart is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild. Limited Edition Giclee prints are printed to a maximum of 250 prints, each edition size. Framing is optional.  A choice of Frames in Standard Sizes is available to buy online. For original artworks we provide Bespoke Framing in collaboration with leading framer John Jones, framers to the National Portrait Gallery, the V& A, Sotheby’s and Christie’s. Once you have chosen a piece, you can purchase or reserve it online or by phone.  We can then discuss framing options with you and provide an estimate before you complete your purchase.
